Episode 97 - Star Trek (2009) and Psychological Stress

In this episode, Dave is joined by Shaun from No, Totally! But first, Britt shows up to bash on Zachary Quinto, and sing the praises of Karl Urban (mainly because he's hot).  Then, Dave talks about stress, specifically decision making and decision making styles,  Finally, Shaun joins us to talk about a first time watch for him.  Topics include drumming styles, cgi, how much he despises Zachary Quinto, and twitter games.

Episode 95 - Much Ado About Nothing and Reputation

As this was the week MacBeth was SUPPOSED to release nationwide, Dave invites Ben from Cinematic For The People to talk about Much Ado About Nothing.  But first Britt comes on to reminisce about the film without even watching it recently.  She also shares some stories about a performance we both saw.  She is also crafting during the recording (sorry about any audio issues)!  Then Dave examines reputation.  Specifically, the value of a good reputation, perceived reputation in the brain, measuring a woman's reputation, and male honor.  Finally, Ben and Dave discuss the movie from very different points of view but definitely share some similar views!

In this episode, Dave tackles a horror/comedy classic Gremlins, in celebration of the release of Krampus!  Britt stops by to discuss whether or not Gremlins holds up, as well as the state of comedy in film.  Dave talks about Xenophobia in terms of attitudes towards Muslim immigrants,  Spanish football, and hot dog vendors.
